What happened
On November 7, 2026, Bambu Lab announced the H3C, its first third-generation desktop 3D printer, in a release datelined Austin, Texas. The machine is built around a nine-tool changer system called Swaptek that keeps every tool loaded and preheated, allowing material swaps in under six seconds. The H3C AMS Combo is priced at $2,499 in the US and €2,499 in the EU and is sold through Bambu Lab's official store, with availability listed from November 3.
The H3C is the company's first printer designed from the ground up around a dedicated tool changer, following the X1 and P1 lines that arrived in 2022. It adds a FlexFeed extruder for soft TPU, a sealed nine-spool filament system with drying up to 85°C, hardened nozzles for abrasive composites, and a lighter print head capable of travel speeds up to 1,400 mm/s. Bambu Lab is positioning the printer around new use cases such as full-color figures, footwear, wearables and mixed-hardness parts, and is selling companion accessories including a station, an air purifier, a five-color PLA Palette filament set and an optional camera.
