Agency Field Guide is a Tim Kilroy project. This policy explains what information we collect through agencyfieldguide.com and what we do with it.

Information we collect

If you submit an agency, we collect the agency name and URL plus your name, title, and business email address. If you contact us, we collect the information in your message.

Our hosting and measurement tools may also receive technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring page, approximate location, and interactions with the site. We use Google Tag Manager to manage measurement tags; tags configured through it may use cookies or similar technologies.

How we use it

• To review, crawl, and publish submitted agencies.
• To contact submitters about a listing, correction, or submission.
• To operate, secure, measure, and improve the site.
• To comply with law and protect our rights and users.

How we share it

We may share information with service providers that help us host the site, store submissions, measure usage, and send operational email. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, or as part of a business transfer. We do not sell or rent the personal information submitted through this site.

Retention and security

We keep submission and contact information for as long as reasonably needed to evaluate listings, operate the directory, keep appropriate records, and resolve disputes. We use reasonable safeguards, but no internet service is perfectly secure. We deliberately ask for very little because collecting data for sport is a lousy hobby.

Your choices and rights

You can block or delete cookies through your browser. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to our use of your personal information. To make a request, email corrections@agencyfieldguide.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing it.

Third-party sites

Agency profiles and guides link to other websites. Their privacy practices are their own. A link is not a tiny legal force field.

Children

This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes

We may update this policy as the site or its tools change. The effective date above tells you when this version took effect.
